Courtesy Inn Terms and Conditions 

Motel Policy:

Notice to Guests: Guest(s) or any person(s) affiliated with the guest(s) shall not engage in any illegal activity.  A single violation shall result in immediate eviction and no refund.  This property is privately owned and management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests or for loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind.  NO REFUND, NO VISITORS, RATES SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Check out time by 11:00am to avoid extra day change.
For cash check-in, if extending the stay, rent due by 9:00am daily - subject to room availability.
For credit card check-in, credit card authorization is required for the full amount that will include the total number of nights stay.
Use phone number (507) 289-1801 to contact motel guest room.  Toll free number (800) 658-7046 is for reservations only.
Lobby hours:  6:00am to 10:00pm (Mon-Fri), 7:00am to 10:00pm (Sat-Sun).  Incoming calls for the motel guests, wake up calls, ice and all other miscellaneous service will be provided during lobby hours only. 
Switchboard will be open for incoming calls up to 10:00pm.  Only emergency calls to motel should be made after 10:00pm.
Absolutely no pets, no visitors and no refunds.
Housekeeping starts at 8:00am.  Motel employees have the right to enter rental units daily for cleaning and inspection (as required by the law).  Linen will be changed once every week.  
No hot plats or other type of cooking equipment is allowed in the room as per the requirement of the CITY FIRE CODE.  Use disposable plates and containers suitable for microwave.  Never dispose food and/or wash plates in the sink and bath tubs.
Cooking is allowed in kitchenettes only.  Guests are responsible for cleaning the kitchen area, utensils, plates, silverware daily and especially at the time of check out. An additional $25 will be charged at the time of check out if cleaning of kitchenware is not done.
In case of emergency, dial "0" (zero) or ring the office bell.
Breakfast hours in the main lobby are after 6:00am (Mon-Fri) and after 7:00am (Sat-Sun).
Please pay all the phone charges before checking out.

Majority of our guests are visiting Mayo Clinic and other hospitals in Rochester area.  The length of their stay is not predictable and is entirely dependent on the medical treatment they are undergoing.  These situations may result into guests extending their stay beyond what was originally planned.  These unavoidable circumstances make it difficult for the motel management to always accommodate guest preferences for rooms facilities at the time of arrival.  Of course, every attempt will be made by the motel management to accommodate guest room preferences subject to room availability.

Majority of our kitchenettes are rented as extended stay.  It is entirely possible that existing guests may further extend their stay by a week or a month depending on their medical conditions.  Because of these reasons, the motel management cannot guarantee availability of kitchenette units during reservation time.  Every attempt will be made to accommodate requests for kitchenette units upon arrival and based on availability of such units.

We do acknowledge that hospital appointments and medical treatments are sometimes not predictable.  These unplanned situations make it difficult for our guests to predict if they may need to extend their stay beyond the last day of reservation or check-out.  However, we require that our guests check-out as per their original reservation and last day of stay and take the following actions:

Vacate the rooms by 11:00am and settle the bills as per original reservation and last day of the stay.
Inform the motel management (Front desk) during check-out time of your intentions that you might return and extend your stay.  The front desk will guide you on where to park your vehicle after checking out, if you are planning to leave the vehicle on motel premises. 
Call the motel (507) 289-1801 as soon as you find out whether you need to extend your stay.  We request that you call the motel even when you do not wish to extend your stay.
The motel management will make every attempt to accommodate such unplanned requests for extended stay.   However these requests are subject to room availability and based on any cancellations that we may receive for pre-booked reservations.  We cannot provide any guarantees on room availability for such unplanned requests.

We kindly request that you inform us about any changes to your length of stay when you check-in.  This is particularly important if you are planning to extend your stay beyond the dates that were booked with your original reservation.  Any extension to the length of stay is subject to availability of the rooms.  The motel management will try their very best to keep you in the same room or you may be required to move into a different room according to room availability on that particular day.  Again, every attempt will be made to avoid disruption where possible.

Courtesy Inn holds guests reservation until 4:00pm without guarantee, after which the motel management will rent that room to other guests.  Arrivals that are planned after 4:00pm will require a valid credit card to guarantee your reservation.  Credit card guaranteed reservations would only secure room availability and not the type of room such as 1-bed, 2-bed, smoking, non-smoking and especially kitchenette units.  We will also need the same credit card with the same guest name during check0in as the one used to reserve your room.

Courtesy Inn has a 24-hour cancellation policy.  With credit card guaranteed reservation, it is important for guests to give Courtesy Inn a 24-hour notification prior to arrival date for any changes or cancellation of the reservation.  Failure to do so will result in the credit card being charged for one night as a "No show" and the reservation will automatically be cancelled for rest of the nights reserved.
